I pursued a Ph.D in Dr. Robert St. Amant's Knowledge Discovery Lab in the department of computer science at North Carolina State University, but decided to concentrate my full efforts on growing Prime Access Consulting (PAC). My previous research blended human computer interaction, intelligent user interfaces, and artificial intelligence together with an emphasis on helping users with disabilities. Below are my previous research interests. Feel free to drop me a line via email or find me on social media to discuss any of these projects. Though I'm no longer a doctoral candidate, I maintain frequent and strong ties to academia, and I am happy to connect you to the appropriate resources.
Previous Research Areas
- Eyes-free exploration of spatial information such as interactive maps, bar charts, flow charts, and graphs.
- Interaction paradigms that facilitate seamless access to multitouch environments for persons with vision impairment (PWVI)
- Using machine learning and other AI inspired techniques to address web accessibility.
